Follow these structural culinary rituals to execute this dish perfectly.
Step 1
Cook the dal with green chilies, ginger, salt, turmeric, roasted cumin powder, and the second extract of coconut milk. Add enough water and pressure cook until done.
Step 2
Sauté shallots and garlic in coconut oil until lightly golden.
Step 3
Add curry leaves and dried red chilies and sauté for a few seconds.
Step 4
Add the cooked dal and mix well.
Step 5
Add the first extract of coconut milk and cook on low heat until you reach the desired consistency.
